How teams use us

One team, one standard. The only thing that changes is whose logo sits in the footer.

Direct · B2B

For businesses whose website has become a problem

Platforms, customer portals, multi-language marketing sites and the integrations holding them together. You get a small senior team, a demo every week, and code your in-house developers can take on afterwards.

Usually 6–12 weeks, then a support retainer.
Direct · B2C

For consumer brands where conversion pays the bills

Online shops, campaign microsites and landing pages that load quickly and check out cleanly. We design, build and measure them — and keep tuning once they’re live.

Usually 3–6 weeks to go live.
White-label

For agencies short on hands, not ideas

Extra developers for agencies in Manchester, London and beyond, working inside your repos and your process under a mutual NDA. No credit anywhere. Your client keeps dealing with your account team; we make sure the deadline holds.

Per project, or a monthly block of capacity.
What clients say
We brief them like an in-house team. Our client has never asked who built it.

02 — What we do

Six skills, one small bench

Hand us a single line item or the entire job — strategy, design, development and the upkeep that follows.

Services in full
  1. 01

    Web development

Full-stack work, from React front ends to Laravel back ends — responsive, accessible and quick out of the box.

  2. 02

    WordPress & CMS

Bespoke WordPress themes and blocks; Contentful or Sanity when going headless genuinely makes sense.

  3. 03

    UI/UX design

Interfaces grounded in research, and design systems delivered as tidy Figma files.

  4. 04

    APIs & integrations

Documented, secure REST and GraphQL APIs, connected to the systems your client already runs.

  5. 05

    Speed & rescue

Failing Core Web Vitals, broken plugins, compromised installs — diagnosed, fixed and locked down.

  6. 06

    SEO, analytics & email

Search, tracking and HTML email that renders properly in Outlook as well as Gmail.

Under NDA, mostly

404 — portfolio not found

Most of what we build goes out under an agency’s brand, and the contract says it stays that way. A few clients have agreed to be named; for the rest, we’ll walk you through it on a call once an NDA is in place.

NDA before specificsMutual, and signed before we talk detail.

03

From brief to live in four steps

Weeks rather than months, and no corners cut to get there.

  1. 01

    Scope

We get to grips with the goals, the audience and the constraints, then tell you plainly what’s achievable.

  2. 02

    Design

Wireframes, prototypes and final screens, iterated quickly until everyone’s happy with them.

  3. 03

    Build

Tidy, documented code in current frameworks, done properly the first time round.

  4. 04

    Go live

Testing, deployment and a proper handover — and we’re still about afterwards.

04 — The paperwork

A UK company on the contract

Who do we actually contract with?

JH webstudio Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales (company no. 08104308) and based in Manchester. The contract is governed by the law of England and Wales.

Is VAT added?

Yes. You get a proper VAT invoice in pounds, with VAT at the standard rate where it applies, paid by bank transfer.

What about IR35?

We work as a limited company on outcome-based B2B engagements, which typically sits outside IR35. Your own status determination still applies — there’s more on the rates page.

What you can count on

Readable code

A mutual NDA on every job. Your client never hears our name.

Fast pages

Performance is built in from the first commit, not bolted on the week before launch.

Short notice is fine

Rush jobs welcome. We’ll cost them honestly and won’t cut corners to hit the date.

Still here after launch

Support retainers keep sites patched, quick and secure long after go-live.

AI, used sensibly

07 — Questions

What agencies usually ask first

How does white-label work in practice?

We sign a mutual NDA, join your repos and tools, and work under your agency’s brand. Your client carries on dealing with your team — as far as they know, we’re part of it.

Can our own developers take the code over?

Yes, and that’s deliberate. It’s commented, documented and follows the conventions of your stack, so your team carries on where we stopped without needing a call.

Is there a minimum spend?

No. We’ll take on a single landing page as happily as a six-month platform build.

Do you use AI tools?

Yes, openly. AI takes the donkey work out of analysis and boilerplate, which keeps the hours down. A senior developer still reviews everything before it reaches your repo.

Do you look after sites once they’re live?

Yes. A monthly retainer covers updates, patching, monitoring and fixes, so the site stays quick and secure long after launch day.

We’re up against a deadline. Can you help?

Often, yes. We’ll cost it honestly and tell you straight away if the date isn’t achievable, rather than finding out together a week before launch.

Thanks — it’s with us. You’ll hear back within two working days.

Sorry, that didn’t send. Please email info@hidn.digital instead.
