How does white-label work in practice?
We sign a mutual NDA, join your repos and tools, and work under your agency’s brand. Your client carries on dealing with your team — as far as they know, we’re part of it.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes. JH webstudio Ltd is VAT-registered (GB244125925), so you get a proper VAT invoice in pounds, with VAT at the standard rate (currently 20%) where it applies. It goes through your books like any other local supplier.
Where do you stand on IR35?
We contract as a limited company on outcome-based, business-to-business engagements: a defined scope, or a block of capacity against agreed work. That typically sits outside IR35, but your own status determination is what applies, and we can’t give a legal guarantee either way. We’re happy to answer your accountant’s questions.
Which law governs the contract?
The law of England and Wales. You contract with JH webstudio Ltd and pay in pounds by domestic bank transfer — no currency conversion and no cross-border invoicing for your finance team to puzzle over.
Which hours do you work?
Yours. Calls, stand-ups and releases are planned around your working day, and ours also overlaps the EU and the US East Coast.
